ASUP urges FG to show more commitment to education: ASUP Strike called off?

ASUP Strike Update: Yesterday we were informed that students from Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State in protest of the strike block down Ikorodu road in Lagos State, which cause heavy traffic. We said, we really don't know if the meeting hold or not. After waiting for hours expecting to see a new update on the FG and ASUP Strike on Nigeria Newspapers. We noticed that Vanguard Nigeria re-published an old news which look like the meeting hold. What gave them out is the said today being the 51 day of the strike? If you are a Polytechnic Student, you will know without even thinking that the strike is not just 51 days but almost 3 months!! So did the ASUP, FG meeting really hold on the 24th June, 2013? I doubt it.
you can read the excerpt below.
